Frequently Asked Questions
How does the 14-day free trial work?
The free trial allows you to evaluate Chatroll risk-free for 14 days. If you cancel your free trial within 14 days of signing up you will not be charged. You can cancel anytime by clicking the "Account" link at the top of your Chatroll dashboard.
Do I have to sign a long term contract?
No. Chatroll is a pay-as-you-go service. There are no long term contracts or commitments. You simply pay month-to-month. If you cancel, you'll be billed for the current month, but you won't be billed again.
Who counts as a "user"?
Chatroll plans are based on capacity, that is, the maximum number of simultaneous users. Anyone viewing your Chatroll chats at the same time counts as a user. There is no limit on the number of unique monthly users, chats in your account, messages or minutes you use each month.
What happens when I reach my plan's capacity limit?
When your plan's capacity limit is reached, new users will see a "chat is full" message when they attempt to access your chats. Users already in your chats will be unaffected. New users will be able to immediately access your chats once another user has left. You will never be charged for overage or extra usage.
Can I change plans at any time?
Yes. While signed in, click on the "Account" link at the top of any page and click "Service Plan", and choose your new plan.
