"Apparently the year ends with an eclipse at 10 degrees Cancer. At Astrology Zone, Susan Miller talks about a woman possibly being eclipsed out of my life. For Cancer signs, she says, "At the full moon lunar eclipse of December 31, something will end forever, but a new chapter will be forming shortly thereafter." The 'something will end forever' sounds so ominous. The last time an eclipse occurred in July and the monthly forecast talked about a man being eclipsed out of my life. I thought it would be my daddy, but it turned out that my brother left, moving back to the South after only 8 months here. I may be uing a lot of the five flower formula essence to help my anxiety this month"

"www.astrologyzone.com is the astrology site I have been using since its inception 14 years ago. For charts, astro.com is indispensable."

moonmave: HI, Trisha. Some people do click on the link to this room, but I'm not seeing any comments other than yours. Too bad. Donna

Trishia_Virgo: Hello, Donna! Thanks again for dropping in. Yes, like I posted earlier, I have had up to three people online but no one wants to dive in That is OK. If I knew astrology well enough, I could probably check when I had this idea and see that it was NOT a good beginning date doomed from the start. It could be that folks don't like 'swimming in the dark' so to speak, and see no point without having an astrology expert like yourself to take the lead???

Trishia_Virgo: I am isolated where I live, 45 miles outside of Portland, and what few people I do know are not into astrology or esoteric thought. SO...it would be so nice to just discuss and yak with others of like mind. I used to have an outlet for my thoughts when I was a regular columinist at the paper in Port Angeles. And to be honest, I worried about myself that if I did not give voice to some of my thoughts/ideas, that it would manifest in some negative way in my body -- sore throat, whatever, you know.

Trishia_Virgo: I had wondered if maybe I should set a particular time for 'chat' time and if that would encourage folks to participate, but I don't know....we'll see

Trishia_Virgo: Just did an hour or so research this evening on different blogs on the subject of postcards (I have two online businesses where I sell original antique French postcards and I sell digital scans of postcards for art.)

Trishia_Virgo: Anyway, it is incredible --- I just can't find the right superlative to describe how much Web presence there is! If we could become as united in the physical world as we are in cyberspace.....!!!

Trishia_Virgo: Apparently this plethora of Web connections is a URANIAN influence.

Trishia_Virgo: Some people find it easy to be "wired" all day long -- they post messages on Facebook via their iPhone and such.
Dec 4 2009, 3:22 AM
Trishia_Virgo: I ruminate on what this does to a person's "persona" and whether it can be detrimental.

Trishia_Virgo: In a since, it's as if a person is starring in their own Reality TV show: they are putting themselves in front of the cyberspace "camera" 24 hours a day.

Trishia_Virgo: Oops...that should read "in a sense"...well, I do have Virgo in my name

Trishia_Virgo: I take issue with whether or not people can be 'real' when they are being watched, even when it's voluntary. Besides, everyone needs down time, time to be real and true just to oneself.

Trishia_Virgo: Aside from the psychological issues, there is another concern I have with our constant WIRED connection: the physical problems it creates for our bodies being at computers.

Trishia_Virgo: My day job, my businesses and my 'downtime' to chat with friends all takes place in front of a comptuer. No wonder I have carpal tunnel symptoms!
