CDA wants 6 grand to take a case I need more if a law firm that handles mortgage fraud.

I was sent robo letter and put in a state if foreclosure simply because we applied for a loan modification. We had never been late or missed a payment but were put in state if foreclosure after we applied for the modification by BofA.

Hi MrBillcap. I am not an attorney or an expert in this at all. So please understand that my advice is not legal advice. However – with that being said – it is my understanding it is not going to be cheap taking on a bank in a fraud lawsuit. I am guessing something like that will cost anywhere to 150k. That is why I am guessing that this might not be the route for you if you felt that CDA charging 6 grand might have been. But I am not sure that is what you are saying.

For example – are you saying CDA is too expensive? Or – are you saying they are not expensive but they do not offer expertise in the area you need them? The reason is because I do know other law firms – however -- I can tell you that a fraud case against one of the largest financial institutions in the world is not going to be a cheap or easy venture.
