software engineers with experience in user experience design, real-time web applications, and highly scalable service-oriented architectures.
With the vision of a future enriched by real-time interactive experiences across web and mobile,
we set out in 2008 to build the web's first truly real-time cloud computing platform using standards-based technologies.

Jon McGee, Founder and CEO
If you have ever used Windows or bought something from Amazon, you have likely used Jon's software.
Prior to founding Chatroll, Jon was a Sr. Software Engineer at Amazon
where he launched a redesign of Amazon's Global Customer Experience and received an Inventor Award for a patent application in User Interfaces.
Prior to that he was an engineer at Microsoft on the Windows User Experience team, where he invented a graphics buffering algorithm that also resulted in a patent application.
Jon attended the University of Waterloo as a National Scholar and holds a Bachelor of Mathethematics, Dean's Honours List in Computer Science.
